Nu Construction is a highly professional and focussed building company that prides itself for delivering projects on time and within budget. Established in 2003 our team contains a breadth of knowledge and experience unrivalled by most other companies in our business sector. We believe our success to date is due to our single minded approach to excellence and placing the client at the centre of everything we do. As a result of this focus we have developed client and consultant repeat business with an enviable reputation for delivering high quality new build and refurbishment projects valued between £100,000 – £4,000,000.
On 23rd April, NU Construction attended and presented to Mark Bew MBE Chair of the BIM Task Group and David Philps as Head of BIM Implementation - Cabinet Office who are jointly responsible for delivering the Governments Building Information Modelling (BIM) strategy.
NU Construction know first hand what concerns SME's within the industry have in connection with the implementation of BIM and this meeting was the opportunity to share these concerns with Government officials. Please see below Construction Sector Network's overview from the meeting.
The following survey is a high level BIM questionnaire aimed at all SME’s operating in the construction sector within the region.
A simple strategy with clear and measurable results can be achieved by driving the CSR initiative in supporting the engagement of apprentices, work experience trainees and supporting local businesses. Clearly, this has a major impact on the local economy ensuring money is spent on local goods and services and reduces the import of transient labour.
