Nu Construction were awarded this design and build contract following a competitive tendering process.
The works comprised constructing an extension on the existing school dining hall and the refurbishment of the existing dining hall. An additional phase included the conversion of an existing first floor office to provide unisex toilet facilities.
Works included the replacement of the existing servery including the necessary adaption to services including lighting, power and sprinkler systems. New flooring and redecoration to the existing canteen area was also undertaken.
Works comprised of the removal of an existing self-supporting canopy followed by the construction of a single story extension which will incorporate new unisex toilet facilities, water fountains, cleaners cupboards and sports store room. The new extension increases the dining capacity of the school by over 100%.
