Grade II listed building refurbishment completed at Cliffe House

NU Construction has completed a £1.9m contract for Kirklees Council to refurbish Cliffe House, a detached Grade II listed mansion property in its own grounds that provides bespoke learning and events for schools, groups, colleges, businesses, individuals and the community.

The nature of the works included undertaking condition improvement works to the main building including reroofing, rewiring of existing electrical installations, installation of new heating distribution system, installation of a new sprinkler system, upgrading of existing fire prevention system, improvements to fire egress arrangements, internal and external decorations, repairs prior to painting, minor drainage amendments, replacement of floor coverings, upgrading of sanitary and welfare provisions and full refurbishment of all stained glass windows.
