Nu Construction were awarded this design and build contract to construct a new 1,505 sq ft steel framed retail unit for Costa Coffee at Northgate Retail Centre.
The unit was constructed using a steel frame with insulated roof decking and flat roof coverings.
External walls consisted of cavity wall construction, outer skin of reconstructed stone (to suit location and to closely match the existing buildings).
Works were carried out in a busy live environment with an existing fast food restaurant situated adjacent to the new build unit.
